Fiday night's first night, well supported by our Waikato neighbours, and those not committed to other events.
Friday night had its normal southerly blowing, a bit of resistance training for all.

A quote from the south australia web

Fantastic, glad to see the art of going straight, turn left, go straight, turn left is being practised in Auckland again. One of my riders reported in stoked with the Wednesday session. Looking forward to some good battles with your riders at Track Nationals! Canterbury is running their carnival on the 5th and 6th of January just before Elite Road Nats. We had some Auckland riders there this year and hope they will agree it was an excellent two nights and well worth bringing down their mates for next year.

Yet another good friday night turn out at "the beach" With our comm games riders back into the fold, we were all given a lesson on speed and class riding (for the under 17"s and under 19's) to watch and learn from, still some of our enduros have not shown up yet, but non the less, some good sprinting, and fast paced points racing, (for so early in the season). some good leg speed work for our ocea's reps on spiny gears.(sprinters)
Hayden McCormack rode a good smart race to finnish third in the points race, with Aaron Gate first , Myron Simpson second.
So if any one is in the region on a friday night, with their track rike, don't be shy, or even to come and watch, sign in at 6.30 pm racing starts at 7pm, a small cafe is operating by the stands so you won't go hungry, nor will you be dissapointed with the racing.
