Magura Louise Bat Noise And Vibration

Postby jimbo600 on Sat 4/Apr/09 5:58pm

Noticed that the rear brake on my soft tail was really noisy and had a bad vibration. Tried all sorts to cure it. Spokes, suspension pivots the works. Then I gave to top bloke Chris a call at www.puresports.co.nz and he sorted it right away. Turns out the 180mm disc is too grunty for most XC soft tails and the bite causes distorsion. By swapping the 180 for a 160mm gives more brake control and eliminates the noise and vibration. Result.
