Z4 Lowers

Postby quantumMoose on Sun 20/Jun/04 11:12pm

Don't suppose someone has some broken 2000 era 'zocchi Z4's floating around? I managed to break a drop out off on one of the lowers, and am a bit sceptical about welding it. If someones got some lowers, that would be great. They are the ones that the end of the forks is open, and the bottom bolt is up the tube nealy 150mm.
Thanks

Should be a few around somewhere, they did have a habit of doing that. :)

Mate, I've got some Z4's - 99 I think. The construction is just how you described them. They're black with blue stickers, but no disc mount, which could be the one difference between them and the 2000's - dunno. I've got the rest of the forks still (all in one piece), and they were running well when they were last ridden - still plush. There is just a small hairline crack starting to form a few mm down one side of the crown so I wouldn't recommend using the whole fork! The rest of them are sweet though.

Let me know if you're interested. I'm in Auck. You can ring on (021) 610676
