Frame or complete bike. Singlespeed or geared, not too stressed.

Something like an old Raleigh XXIX, Avanti KISS, Haro Mary or GT peace would be perfect.

Ta. :)

any one got something (complete bike) like this in small (pref chch), I am on the lookout for a bike for my sister :)

There's a large Ragley Piglet 2 for sale on Welly Tracks MTB. Is complete for $1,500 but looks like an ok build with ck hubs, xt brakes, mixed drive train and fox 34s. I don't know how to copy the link though.....

Okay, I really REALLY want a singular swift if anyone knows of one going.

It's even got rack mounts! :butbut:

Looks pretty cool. But why a 34mm head-tube? You'd have to come see someone like me for a custom fork if you want suspension. :sneaky:
44mm or taper would really open up the options.

Gumby's solution would actually work on a steel frame. If it was a little better executed of course!

I have a Jeffson frame from Reynolds 853 and Columbus Zona which I've accepted I'll never build up again. For 26" wheels, single speed or geared hub (was made for a Rohloff) with a Bushnell eccentric bottom bracket. Has rack mounts and two bottle cage mounts so good for everything from mountain biking to touring. Lovely geometry with 120mm forks. It was freshly powder coated and re-stickered before I built it and is in great condition - I'd be after $300.
