I caused a lame one. I was walking home from school (about 4000 years ago) and my mate was biking past, no hands. I yelled out and waved to him, he spent a second or two looking around to see where I was, copped me, waved, and when he turned back around to watch where he was going he scored the deck of a parked flat bed truck in the mouth. He lost 9 teeth

I had a similar one, cold, wet, windy wellington day, riding to tech, head down and peddling, looked up and noticed I was about 2 inches away from the back of a car. THUMP. Minor damage to bike (hit it dead square on) and only groin bruising, plus it was parked outside a pub, so got back on and got the hell out of there before the owner popped out. Most damage to ego/pride/etc.

A lot of modern skewers don't fit into windtrainer's to well. The more expensive models come with a special skewer to hold the bike better but you can purchase then separately.

Got out of car and ran towards a rental car agency, misjudged the edge of a manhole cover in a road that had been resealed(so it was 2 inches lower than the road).

Foot rolled into the dip, next thing I'm on my ass and the foots real sore. Fast forward a few days and I'm in plaster with a broken foot. 7 weeks off work.

I tripped and landed teeth first on a low lying brick wall when I was about 10. I lost both front teeth and had a jagged toothless smile.

I once lifted my bike by the seat useing my thumb,to show my mate that it was (reasonably)light, all of a sudden the bike fell,in a split second I looked down at my hand to see my thumb popping back into place at which point the pain signed up for registration with the brain, ever since then it sometimes pops backwards then back into place when I lift heavy or ackward objects :p

Headed out for a social game of golf, paid my fee, walked down the ramp and feet went from under me. straight down on my arms and although in a lot of pain, like Cruiser, thought I would carry on in front of the brother in laws (arms tingly and numb) :eh: Couple holes and I was home and in pain. Tore the scapular off the shoulder, plus rotated cuff damage and when I went in for surgery they sent in the camera and found a cracked bone. So a 1 hour op turned into 4 hours, 2 x 50mm screws, 4 anchors and a bone graft off the hip later. Six months sleeping in the lazy boy  (Sky control all mine) :) Crazy, being playing competitive golf for years and then this happens. So I thought bugger this bullshit and took up mountain biking instead:lol:

For some stupid reason no dentist in town could see me. So I had to spend the light trying not to let my tounge (not to mention my lips) touch my jagged teeth and the exposed roots. And when I did, PAIN is an understatement
