Oh wow, that is huge!

Espoir Central has good write ups on these U23 races, and I should imagine he'll be covering this one really well.

Alex Frame just outside top ten as well.

Tom Scully won the London Nocturne crit.

Link to the terrible writeup - http://www.londonnocturne.com/latest_news_080613.php (it's almost as if they're pissed that Dowsett didn't win and don't really want to do a story on it...)

Roman van Uden 4th.

Bloody hell, Campbell Flakemore put 1min13 into Michael Vink over the 32k TT last night. That's quite impressive given how good Vink is against the clock.

Top 10 GC
Dylan van Baarle
Lasse Norman Hansen +3"
Damien Howson +16"
Adam Phelan +47"
Michael Vink +49"
TJ Eisenhart +53"
Rasmus Sterobo +1'05"
Michael Valgren +1'21"
Silvio Herklotz +1'30"
Maximilian Schachmann +1'37"

Good result. Could have been even better though. Sounds like the rest of the team put in a lot of effort to put Vink into a good position to improve on GC but Josh Aitken's tweets last night were very critical of some of the tactics other guys were using to get back into the break after mechanicals - holding onto cars and blatant motor pacing. Commissaires didn't do a thing though.

Getting back into the race after a mechanical by motor pacing from a car is all good. Getting back on after getting hooped by the same means is not. Josh was talking about the later.
Holding onto cars is how most sprinters and the grouppetto climb in Europe and Asia.

Just read the pink bike summary of day 4 of the BC Bike Race and seems like there's quite a battle for the Woman's Solo with Kim Hurst recovering a small bit of time on the leader.

Huge win for Linda Villumsen taking the final stage of La Route de France solo by 5:53 to overturn, and then some the 1 second deficit she had to Emma Johanssen's GC lead after finishing second to her in the prologue. Awesome stuff!!
