I reckon Tyler Farrar is way overrated. Sure he's got one or two victories, but when the top sprinters are racing he's usually nowhere to be seen, despite the excellent help he gets from Julian Dean. But when Farrar is taken out of the picture and Dean remains, Dean is able to be right up there with the best of them even though he's pretty much all on his lonesome... And that's despite exhausting himself for 3/4 of the tour looking after an injured wussbag Tyler Farrar!

Also, the ad Tyler Farrar did for Transitions lenses is awful. Transitions lenses were lame before, but he took their lameness to new heights.

As patriotic as I am Happybaboon, and a friend of Julians, Farrar is a class act. He is very quick, and I watched him win Scheldeprijs this year..he is quick. From memory, he won a stage in the Giro this year? I think he is a bit quicker than Julz, but doesnt have the strength to keep going, so pulls up quick if he mistimes it.

He actually had a great Tour of Flanders on the cobbles

From what I saw early season and at Scheldeprijs, Hendy was the quickest guy about in April, but the Sky train was just awful, without Wiggans anda few others.

Babs, Farrar has outsprinted Cavendish in a straight man on man sprint before. He is a fantastic sprinter who has won two Giro stages and a Vuelta stage. Sure the Tour didn't go right for him, but it didn't go right for lots of riders - should we write off everyone who didn't perform to expectations?

Also I'm fairly sure Julz would rather be beating the world's top sprinters rather than "bell ends" and "wussbags". I doubt he disrespects his opposition as much as you do. :eh:

Terrific Tour for JD, two 2nds and a 3rd.
But Farrar has gotta be the 2nd fastest sprinter around I would have thought, with the way JD is going if Tyler had been fit I am sure he would have picked up a win or two at this Tour.
