we were all planned and ready to go just had to pack the car and stupid hubbys work called and told him that he had to be at work all day today oh and sorry for the complete lack of notice *&($)%&***^)%$_@$()#_

that was a blast, to strong for me till i can get the backbrace i ordered but hubby had a ball. Met a couple of other buggiers who gave him some tips and tricks and he learnt alot.

found out Perrin @ Kiteworks had an awesome crash on Saturday. End over end @ 98.6kph. Buggy needs alot of fixing. Blew the tire off the hub which broke the hub and bent his rear suspension axel.

He got off lightly with just bruises

Does anyone know of anywhere that hires out landboards/kites? If not, what's the minimum sort of initial cost for decent quality board and kite?

I can get a good deal on boards and kites from a German brand, Invento HQ, through work, but I have no idea if that's a good brand, or what to look for..

Any beginner hints appreciated!
