I bet those tyres were just Nankangs with "P-ZERO" painted on the sidewalls :D

That Fiesta makes the subaru (used in the first video) look like a kid's toy though, seriously cool stuff.

Is that one of the S2000 cars that will be used in next years WRC?

Probably based on one, but I think those Gymkhana cars of his have always been a bit special, power way above standard WRC cars etc

Reminds me of what used to happen my hire cars when I was younger :D  Put a hole in the bottom of the sump in one of them :o
Also had a company car that failed it's warrant for a twisted chassis after some serious off road abuse, took a bit of explaining that one :paranoid: :D

Those were the days...

Too funny :-)

Rode around a few motocross track in renta-racers back in the day. Remember fondly a friend surfing a Pontiac Laurentian at Daytona Beach .... along beach, left turn and floor it until it stopped running :D

It's built for the vid, his 'standard' racing fiesta is a few hundred less hp I think?

The monster hp in the vid car is a side effect of getting the torque where/when Mr Block requires it apparently.

Just watched the first one again, the focus definitely spends more time slammed to the rev limiter than the subies did

2011 WRC regs say the cars will still be turbo, but limited to 1600cc.
That Fiesta must have one helluva strong engine, 'cos he sure does love that rev limiter!

Not Ken but still as sweet, note the lack of old skid marks on the road

Close, but no cigar. It's a Fiesta (same shape as he is using in the WRC).

He actually drives a Focus in the WRC. The Fiesta is what he drives in the States.

Yes, makes it even more inexcusable that he hasn't scored a point in the WRC yet....

Really?

He has done little more than a couple of gravel rallys previously, and steps straight in to a WRC car to compete at the highest level in the world. Consistently puts in performances that net him top 10 positions, and then crashes out quite a bit. Surely the crashing will become less, and the speed will get better. Did you expect him to be threatening to win the World Championship in his rookie year?
