Another quote which comes to mind is that of Bruce McLaren and it goes:

"To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I believe that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone."

No doubt about it, the guy was using his ability and showed through his sponsorships at only 14.

RIP man...

I remember memorising that quote when I was about 14 as it was so true and it definitely applies to Keegan.

RIP dude

In case it hasn't been mentioned, we did have a 1 min silence for Keegan at the start of prizegiving at DH race on Jawbone last weekend.

Thanks for that, it is good to know that Keegan was remembered with a minute's silence because he probably would have been there racing. I am sure he was there in lots of people's hearts. Some of his mates have put a rememberance message on their bikes which is nice. I bet he would have loved the new track...

We are missing him heaps and thinking of him and his family.

No worries. Jono said at the start that if he was there, he would have been on the podium, which was quite nice really.
