People who don't weasel out of stuff all the time obviously.

The ability to weasel out of jury service is what separates us from the animals.

Except for the weasel.

My comment came across even more cunzor like than I ever intended. (I am indeed a cunzor that I don't attend jury but not quite so much of a douche that I think everyone on jury is not quilified to sit on it)

The reasoned answer of nostromo was more what I intended to convey. Sorry for any offense caused.

nostromo wrote:Somewhat true, a friend of mine worked for the law commission who were looking into this as it is one of the main problems with the Jury service now. The people on Juries are generally students, retired people, unemployed or low skilled. Everyone else just says their too busy.

I don't get why under three years is different from over three years.

The more smarterer crooks will make sure anything they do cops them 3+ so they can get joe public to decide.

I think the justice system should be replaced with a combination of trial by media and internet polls :)

As long as I get to make character judgements about people based on what they wear, who they're bonking and what ignorant media commentators say I'll be happy with that
