Importing From The Usa.

Hey guys,

I am just wondering what extra fees or taxs there are on importing from the usa.

Other than shipping, Anyone ever done this before,

Has a run down on what you have to pay duty on, you'll have to pay gst if the item would have over $50 of gst on it, i.e. NZD$400 or more :)

Um that would be $50 of GST and any applicable duty on it. So if the item is also dutiable, eg clothes helmets or some wheels then the $400 threshold is reduced accordingly.
The $400 figure also includes de freight.
And before anyone asks, used is the same as new when importing unless you are an immigrant.
