I did eat my calf club lamb. I'm not going to pretend that I would eat a dog and not feel disgust about it just to make a dubious argument on the internet though.

Depends on where you grew up. If you'd had pet lambs called "roast" and "lambchop", then I'd say yes.

I dont eat pets. Remeber the tigers that died when they were fed Horse that had been given a lethal injection.....let them eat as much horse as they want. Fools

horse is good lean meat, like kangaroo. no problem at all with eating it..

but obviously, it'd need to be done properly, and not from a dodgy pet food supplier...

What were people expecting? They were buying plastic sacks full of meat for $3! And I'd imagine it was from dodgy South Auckland markets, not from supermarkets or reputable butchers.

Horse meat that was supposed to be pet food is probably the least-worst possible outcome for them.

Not sure I understand the question, but Jonathan Haidt and Paul Rozin have done some of the best research on food and disgust.

does food have emothions or do people have emotions to food ? but now I read read you, the prohibitions operate on an emotional level ?
