It's all to do with torques. Usually not enough at the crank end.

Chucking together some bullshit so you can hand something in on time is an important skill to master. Suck it up, princess. Do your own half-assed last second assignment. You might just learn something!

i used to do a real lame one about friction where i put detergent and shit on a piece of wood and time how long a toy car with bogged wheels took to slide to the bottom.

Oh and i made up the results.

I did whether plastic or paper shopping bags were stronger for one of mine.

I think you should experiment to see if yourself as a preteen, can get some girl in your class pregnant

My other one I tested a whole massive bunch of different things for how well they insulated hot water, it was stupid, but I won some statistics award for it.

You should go around a whole lot of different schools, set of their fire alarms and see if there is correlation between the number of fatties and the time it takes for them to all get out onto the field.

Thats probably a way better experiment, pull out the spring, do an experiment to calculate its spring rate, and see how much it varies from its claimed one, then compare with a few other brands.

Our fair project was to see what energy drink worked the best

100m sprint each day after taking one of the drinks, best time meant best drink, do it a couple times to make it a fair test :D
