BAck to questions, if I worked out the threshold that has been mentioned what do you use it for ? How do you use it ? Isn't it just a certain heart rate anyway ? I know the monitor is more just a guide on well your operating at the time rather than a tool to tell you what to do.

You would use you threshold HR in a structured training plan. Every training session has a purpose and generally you try and work at a certain level of threshold HR
