Hawkes Bay Velodrome -what's The Story?

Does anyone know what's happening with the potential Hawkes Bay Velodrome? Is it going to happen or never?

And/or are there any plans to have a covered velodrome in the North Island in the coming years (other than Wangas)?

A pack of nimbys are taking legal action over the council not following correct processes according to today's Dom Post. If they win then it's possible they'll have to rip up the new athletics track... won't be any velodrome until the legal wranglings are resolved.
