Hawke’s Bay Traverse

Run 12 km - Kayak 12 km - Road Cycle 49 km - MTB 20 km

The Hawke’s Bay Traverse will be held in the Esk Valley, starting 45km north of Napier at the Mohaka River, travelling down State Highway 5 and concluding at the Eskdale Domain. Held on Saturday 30th May 2009, competitors can enter as teams of up to four, or as an individual.

The event features running, kayaking, cycling and mountain biking. A gruelling course has been constructed to ensure that competitors find the event both enjoyable and challenging. Members of the public will be able to enjoy the race from vantage points along each course, with the finish line at the Eskdale Domain.
