um well when im riding it the crank on the left side(non-chain side) slowly loosens up and the bolt thingy holding it in falls out so the crank comes off. i have had a new crank put on but it still hasnt worked. the front wheel problem is that when i put the wheel back on and tighten it the more it tightens the harder it is to make it spin and when the wheel is fully tightend the wheel wont move at all

Why WTF, maybe they were not happy with your service. Wouldn't be the first time from what I have heard but hey every bike shop has its 'off' days.

Maybe you could put out a personal call and invite the lad (OP) into the shop and give him your opinion on what is the trouble with his bike - just a thought. :)

Hub is over priced, and never seem to be busy, I always seem to hear bad things about them though but, I've never had any mechanical work done there, but Dave is a decent mechanic and knows his shit sometimes..

Euan's built me two sets of road wheels - they've been great, and I appreciated the attention to detail (like getting a spoke tension printout for each wheel).

Just get wobbler to fix your bike but don't let him wrench your freehub when he's been on the turps

is the bb a square taper axle? If it is, sounds like whoever fitted your new crank arm over torqued it ( correct torque 390 inch pounds) and pushed it to far up the taper of the bb axle which would flair out your new crank arm causing it to come loose again.
or has the arm been torqued enough?

has the front hub been pulled apart recently?
