It's hard to get a big job done in a hospital bed. There's a lot of interruptions, and you can't sit down to work like normal. If you can find a nurse who's willing to roll up her sleeves and help you work it out with a pencil and do some of your paperwork then that's a huge bonus.

It would be cooler if they did the surgery under local anasthetic, then you could pxt it to vorb

General anaesthetic's cool though, waking up, all pumped up with teh drugs and for at least a little while, time stands still and everyone seems so far away
