Ok ok, its been said many times before, the process of powder coating requires reasonably high temperatures, it wont melt the lowers, but it will be enough to melt the rubber and plastic bits inside. Get them painted.

you would have to also remove the bushs(sp?) from the lowers as they will not like the heat.
