Anyone been up there lately? Figured with a week of good weather due could be keen for a mish up there this weekend. Is it worth it or would it be to wet, cause to much damage to the tracks ?

Hard to say but based on a) very wet winter + high snowfalls, b) lots of Nor West weather lately, and c) my experience of riding a packtrack near Lewis Pass yesterday, I would say expect it to be still quite soggy, with LOTS of tree debris all over the track - from oodles of branch ends and decent sized branches, right up to full sized beech trees - which will make it quite a stop start ride.
It's a pretty hard track to wreck as such - thought the Luge gets scoured out by water and track users - but I reckon leaving it a wee bit longer to dry out won't hurt it.
edit; Note that on Canterbury Trail Conditons page the 2 most recent posts about Wharfedale and Lake Sumner both mention the high degree of windfall on tracks ....... every chance Craigieburn will be the same.

i rode craigieburn about 2 weeks ago. There was a fair bit of tree debris on the upper section across the scree slopes from avalanches, but once in the trees the track was in mint condition. I guess by now the snow should have gone from the upper sections aswell.
