Calendar Event: November 2, 2008  

2008 Mid-North Island Champs (M-NIC)
Annual cross-country series, comprising 4 rounds at the popular central North Island venues of Wairakei Forest in Taupo, Cougar Park in Tokoroa, Whaka Forest at Rotorua & Eskdale MTB Park in the Hawkes Bay.

#1 - Taupo - Sunday 2 November (approx 30km single lap) - www.biketaupo.org.nz
#2 - Tokoroa - Sunday 23 November (10/20/30km single lap) - www.tokoroamtb.co.nz
#3 - Rotorua - Sunday 7 December (multi-lap?) - http://rotorua.mtbclub.org.nz
#4 - Napier - Saturday 13 December (10/20/30/40km single/double lap) - www.hawkesbaymtb.co.nz

Categories:
Junior Boys (U16), Junior Girls (U16), Junior Men (U19), Junior Women (U19), Open Men, Open Women, Vet 1 Men (30+), Vet 2 Men (40+), Vet Women (30+)

Each round run independently by the local host club. Competitors either pre-enter or enter on-the-day at each event separately, with the three (3) best round results counted for final series points.
To be eligible for the series, competitors must start the final in Napier.
Trophies awarded to 1st place, medals to 2nd & 3rd for each category at the finals prize-giving.

More info will be posted on the hosts websites closer to the time.
Series results will be available at www.hawkesbaymtb.co.nz
