Hey,

The organisers of the crit series are Richard MacAvoy (that's me) and Nick Bristed. Pegasus is helping us with equipment and getting the word out there. And Scotty Brown helped us line up Colnago as the main sponsor. Definately check out the website (http://criterium.webs.com/ ) for more info or email us on orbitalactivities[at]gmail.com.

Loads of prizes and some wicked fast racing will make these races must do.

Rock on

Richard

How long (time/distance) or how many laps are the races? Couldn't see the details on the web.

Usually around 40-50mins for A/b

And anything from 20mins for the others.

Short, fast and one of the best ways to increase your fitness on your bike. Should be good. No hairpin corners either so hopefully less crashes.

I read the title of this thread and with a sponsor like Colnago I just assumed it was some elite pro continental european race. Now that I know its in my back yard, kcuf yeah count me in!

As Business Time said the races will be 40min plus 5 laps for A/B and 30 min plus 5 laps for C/D. There will also be sprint primes every 10 minuets or so. The course is approx 1 km around.

True, very hairy in fact. But nothing worse than the banana shaped crit course where 1 person a lap comes to grief taking the hairpins too fast...

Cant wait for this should be great...
