Try out the new Mangamahoe Forest MTB XC trails:

New Plymouth Mountain Bikers are having an open ride at Mangamahoe this Sunday.

Description: New Plymouth Mountain Bikers invite you to an open ride on Sunday 31st August 2008 at Lake Mangamahoe. Come out for a recreational ride around the MTB trails within the Lake Mangamahoe Forest. Ride the trails under threat by the proposed new cemetery and logging next year and the new ones just constructed.

Meeting Time: 8.45 am for a start soon after.

Meeting Place: Southern Car Park Mangamahoe Forest MTB park (the gravelled one) - no matter the weather.

For riders of all abilities, you just need a MTB bike. Sly
