Calendar Event: July 6, 2008
Attendees: Definite(4) - Total: 4 - Expected: 4 - View

This event is being run by MTB Tauranga.

Where: Summerhill Recreation Park, Reid Road, Tauranga
When: Sunday July 6
Time: Registration in the main carpark from 12 midday
Breifing at 12.15pm
Event Starts at 12.30pm
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: MTB Tauranga club-members are free
$5 for Non-members (although there will be application forms available on the day)
All proceeds from the event go towards funding the new club website.
Please note that all participants must also make a gold-coin donation to Summerhill (unless you are a paid-up 'Friends of Summerhill' member), and sign the visitors book. This is important data to show the land-owner and Council, to persue future park improvements.

This event is designed to be a casual, fun event for all age groups. It is open to everybody to participate (not just MTB club members)
In association with Summerhill Recreation Park, we have designed the ride to enable you to see as much of the MTB trails at Summerhill as you can within the timeframe.
We are deliberately releasing very few details at this point, as all will be revealed on the day.
The ride will be followed by a prize-giving, but be warned that prizes wont necessarily be awarded to the fastest rider, or the best Poker hand.
MTB Tauranga will be putting on a free BBQ for all participants and volunteers from 3pm. Please BYO liquid refreshments, these can be safely stored in the locked Ger beforehand, so feel free to bring your own chilli bins also.
There will also be a General Meeting for club members, some house keeping matters to ratify our constitution and go through some discussion and paperwork to become an Incorporated Society.
Any questions please email craigonsnow[at]clear.net.nz

Hope to have a poster version prinited in a week or two as soon as some sponsors are sorted. Then will run off enough copies to put 1 up in every LBS with a few extras as well.

When you get the updated version done with sponsors, go and swap out the ones I dropped off today. I was just making sure everyone had as much warning as possible!

I'd be keen on that for me and the missus. Andrew offered to the other night but no sense in him driving all the way over here first if he doesn't have to.

I have no idea on how many will turn up. Estimates range from between 15 to about 50.
Cry

(If anybody knows anyone who would like to be a part of this but isnt really into riding a bike, we would love to have another couple of volunteers :kneeling and preying, a lot:)
