all the cold dry air round here in chch is giving me bleeding noses...not so good when i turn up at work or get home off the port hills looking that I have actually been hit by a car rather than just the usual several close calls...I have tried using scarfs and bandanas to keep the air a bit warmer but no joy as yet, just lots of blood. any cunning tricks cause i am getting very very tired with amount i am loosing each day

lard. tons of it. eat it on everything. cook with it, bathe in it. eventually your blood will be soooooo thick and treacle like you could tear off an arms and still not leave blood stains Big Grin

Lard might be the answer, but i be working in cariology in the big white (well pollution discoloured) hospital here in hicksville and think the odd litre a week lost out the nose is better than getting stents in the hearts arteries ae.

Yeah, I didn't find it that bad, though it is a bit weird when you've got a doctor rubbbing some crystal tihs around the inside of your nose and you can see the smoke coming out.

...but yeah, cold weather used to set mine off all the time.

Harden up.

Although I have been told the amount of pain has a lot to do with the person performing the procedure.

So next time, don't let wobblar or wachy do it. Laugh Out Loud
