The because we still haven't learnt yet "Mid winter Karapoti"

2008:
Who knows?

2007:
So many rigid singlespeeds Crazy

So much fun had last year, the day started with a frost, by the top of deadwood it was raining and then degenerated into sleet at the top of The Devil's Staircase. Feeling was lost the the extremities by the bottom of "Big Ring", unfortunately this did not deaden the pain of Dopers.

When: Sunday June the 29th.
Where: Meet at the top car park at 9:00am.

Depending on conditions single track diversions may be taken.

Any descision to cancel will be made on the day.

Bring: Plenty to eat and drink.
Warm clothing.
A reliable bike and appropriate spares.
Spare brake pads.
A sense of humour.

After match function at "The Tote"? (any other worthy suggestion considered)

Warning: This is an arduous and potentially hazardous ride, and is not the time to try the Karapoti for the first time if you have not done rides of similar distance and difficulty (50km with 3 BIG climbs). On this basis anyone not adequately prepared will be asked to turn back.
