Hi everyone,

On the 5th april the local life education trust is holding a fundraiser, a 24hour bike for life. 10km course(road) open for individuals and teams. My training partner and I will be taking part. At any one time one of us will be on the course.

Any other takers? contact the whakatane life ed trust or whakatane beacon.

Is there a website or more info around anywhere? Is it held in Whakatane? Any idea of numbers etc? Do the riders source their own sponsors? Is life education trust the same crew as that rad truck classroom that goes around (or used to) to schools?
Questions Eh? Blush

Hi Roma, There is zero info online. It is held in whakatane. You have to source your own sponsors. Yes its the same crew, the life education trust does have its own website and various branches around nz. This is for the whakatane part of it. contact number for more info Kate 073079140

It's tempting... I want to do something like this to test my stamina in preparation for some hideously long events I'm planning on doing/building up towards..
Althought I think I might turn into a drater like the old polar bears at the Auckland zoo from going round the same 10kms for 12 hours!
