the paper says...
part of kahuterawa road, near the recreational reserve, has fallen away following last weeks heavy rain.part of the road has been reduced to one lane while the palmerston north city council carries out repairs.the council is asking everyone to take extreme care and is discouraging non-essential use.signage has been erected to advise motorists of the problem.two lanes should be restored by the end of the month.
