 |
|
Hi
Coming down to Invercargill for 3 weeks for work and looking some suggestions where to look for some rides.
From the little time Ive spend in Invercargill I remember there isn't much proper mtbing (at least last time I was down there) so I'll likely bring my cyclocross bike.
So looking for some suggestions for places to ride. Anything from forest roads, gravel tracks upto grade 3 singletrack (anything more xtream than that on dropbars is hairy as!)
Cheers in advance.

the sandy point mtb tracks out in ototatara (on the way to oreti beach) mite be a good place to start. pretty easy singletrack and a good wee road ride from Invercargill aswell. take a look in the other topics as well.

Head up the road a bit until you reach Dunedin.
Sorted.
...but no seriously, Invers isn't quite a riding mecca unless you want to take a blat around the velodrome or are thinking about spending time on the road.
