Has anyone been here recently? What are the trails like, muddy or not too bad. Also has there been anything new built since last summer?

yeah trails..well 1 trail with several easy, hard options..really nice and flowy.

U go to where the spas are, next to the geyser..trail starts there..really scenic..waterfalls, stream crossings, good views etc.

Anyone went to Hunua in the end..which was semi muddy.

It's more trail riding than anything else. No knarly lines or anything. Worth a look though if you wanna go out for a leisurly ride Double Thumbs Up

Was there yesterday arvo, trails are hard and fast as you would expect at the moment. Well fast if you are happy going up fast. Was a stunning day just me and the bike :-)

Brilliant Smile Haven't ridden the trails there in a long time. About time I headed over again. Do up to the top of the mountain, then a lap or two around the trails. Sounds like a plan Double Thumbs Up

What other XC is around the Paeroa area. I am doing a bit of work in the area so keen to find out what else is around... Jumps & Me = pain, XC & Me = not so much pain...

Track is getting looked after again by council ??? but is in good condition and very fast, looking at developing mountain to its full potential with a possible downhill track..... watch this space I'm riding most nights after work with a few others.
