The only trails i know of is the western hills/quarry garedns walking tracks that can be a good thrash even in the wet. eihter go in off old russel road or goto maunu entance of the western hills quarry and push up the left hand side road to the top and either come back down and take the first left, go down the fire break, then come to the walking tracks. Or go the other way and ride thru to the dam. Onerahi , go in atthe cartwright road entrance and push up past tyhe watertank, there are a few trails that i have seen but not really ridden. or you can go down Awaroa River Rd and go up the forestry road but Rodeo is a big hike and i would say is reall over grown by now??.
Hope this helps!!.
Otherwise for building we are jsut getting sorted out with the council and stuff to carry on building trails on Parahaki, but we are still flooded with maitanence, b3e clearing some of the trails over the next few weekends.
Cheers Dan

Cheers Dan | Yer I used to thrash around up on the hills behind maunu quarry man thats a hike going up the side of the quarry but worth it for the blast down the other side, havnt been there for at least a year now,I remember Ruth from hedgehogs telling me off cos its saposed to be a walking track but I never met anyone walking the tracks when I went up,my main rideing buddy has gone to oz now so not so motivated to ride sept for work.

Yeah me and my mate sam used to race from the top, (had a satart line from just below the trig or whatever is at tthe top) and used to come back down the main access track then onto the gravel down the left hand side of the quarry thru to the shaker at the bottom, it gave you about 1.9 km sprint race and we were clocking around the 2:30 min. Havent done that for a while now thou, should go up again sometime.
