Has anyone out there got a map of where the Fishers Track at National Park goes from/to - or point me in the right direction to one on the web.

Don't have a map sorry, but think it's about a 20 km there and back ride.

It starts just down the road from the pub in National Park township, just across the railway lines and turn right (north) and you're on it. It's about 20km one way and is not a loop (ends near Owhango) so you need to either ride back up it (uphill ) or come back via the road (SH4).

I haven't done it personally, however, since the track itself is pretty much a gentle downhill all the way, I'd guess about 1-1.5 hours. Probably allow about the same time again to ride back on the road or you can get picked up by the Howards Lodge people if you organize it before hand.
It's well written up (including map) in the Kennet's book if you have a copy handy.

You will need to have someone to pick you up at the end I think. You can ride the track, it is a amazing ride, then ride it back (20k's at least of pure uphill) or ride about 10 k's on a gravel rd and meet up with the highway
