as in title, i went there a few months ago and it was, well, it had potential to be real good. has anyone been there in the last month or so, are the dirtjumps done, i heard there are some good skinnies up there

Nizza from Koops and the crew have been doing a lot of work on the dirtjumps (inside a poplar stand I believe) over summer. You could call Koops Cycles (07) 578-5406 for more info.
Hey, I was up there last Sunday for a look. Carl Young has asked that the whole DJ area be finished by end of May. A largish rollin ramp has been built, and some of the jumps have been shaped well, but largely there is still a lot of unfinished mounds of dirt. They were doing a lot of work making log rides and stuff there last weekend, looking real good infact.
I hope to get up there again this weekend with the camera, will post up pics here

I was there today, the jump area now has two jumps completed very nice jumps too, there another line of two/three table tops being built at the moment, and it looks like there will be lots of other jumps in the area also close to the jumps there is some really cool and challenging skinnies that have been built out of a fallen tree, theres at least 4 different lines of differing difficult kept me occupied for ages but I finally got all the lines done also if you can make it theres a working bee on next sunday (29th)
I talked to the landowner up there last week, he said that the other side of the road is open again now. Im planning to go up there early tomorrow, like 7.30 or something crazy, you keen for an early start?
yes, I avent ridden that side of the road for 18 months or so, and it was pretty raw back then. I wanna take some pics tomorrow of the jumps/skinnies. But I wanna be home in time to watch the V8's on the telly too.
Some other pics from around the park, heaps of birdlife around in the early morning, something you dont notice at Vegas. Has some really nice XC stuff going on now.

This is the 2nd Mongolian Ger that has been built at Summerhill. This one is nestled down in the forst, and sleeps 4 for overnite stays. Has a flushing toilet in the outhouse too!
