Hi There.
At the moment Ive got the el-cheapo separate knee & shin guard
Im a bit worried if(when) I come off the knee guard will simply move off my knee & rotate away from the front) I'
m often adjusting the knee guard during rides.
Perhaps the the combined knee/shin guard are a better option.??

Any recommendations
thanks

My Fox Launch pads are awesome, heaps better than the 661 race pads I had, the 661 didn't stay in place on the knee and didn't have as much padding as the Launch.

The new Raceface/Roach pads look good too.

ive had those 661 race shins for a few years and they havnt broken yet, they fit ok on yor knee but tend to twist on the leg when pedaling sitting down for a long time, but they r quite cheap, $60 i think

661 racelite. They're good because they vent and still provide really good protection. If you do get some cut that little black bit in between the knee thing and shin thing, then it's way easier to move around.

They is choice!

I use Roach because the lower part of the guard rests on your ankle. This not only gives more protection (especially around the ankle), it also stops the pads fromo slipping down or around in a crash.

Raceface/roach are good but they dont give any protection above the top of your knee cap.

What?
You must be thinking of other guards.
They cover your knee and then have padding above it, which in turn is covered by a velcro strap.

How do I know this? I ride with them.
