Heh I'd been told "vaguely organised riding buddies" but I think the best one is "vagrants on rooted bikes" (if you dont know/cant be bothered looking it up a vagrant is a bum/homeless ....along those lines anyway )

Now it's become a word to itself - but Vagrants On Rooted Bikes is still my personal fave (you should see my flat/ bike collection at the moment - muddy gear everywhere.)
