You didn't miss much of a race.
1: A hairpin crash.
2: Some dudes throttle got stuck on... and he crashed, damaged the barrier and now everything is on hold.

yeah that crash at the hair pin took a few victams and now this one is taking awhile to get going again Sad they have to get it repaired by 1.30 or they cancell the race

A lot of photographers do have a habit of standing in some dodgy places...
Just look at the guys who photo the WRC (mind you the fans tend to act like morons there too).
At DH Nat's in Chch we had a moron with all the gear who was sitting underneath a drop! All he needed was for a rider to wash out above the drop, not have the speed to make the gap and BANG!!! It would of been a very painful trip to A&E!
