Big shout out to Kate for taking out the Unigames gold in the XC, other great VIC results include Ben Sanders and Chris Vanderkolk gaining second and third respective finishes in the downhill, and Kathryn Campbell bombing the course on her jump bike to nail bronze.

The Vic girls finished second overall while the guys had to settle for a close 5th due lack of interest in the XC.

I caught up with Vic president Zoe Haws on her way up the last XC climb before the start of the down bits
"I think I'm going to die, I cant breathe, I think I'm going to die, and now I have to do Ridgeline... I think I'm going to die"
Zoe finished the race but her bird flu forced a deserved sleep-in, ruling her out of the DH

and thanks to Paul for his volunteer efforts - tail-ending the XC, heckling the DH & bringing along assorted rowing team mates for marshalling.....
And hope Pres-Zoe gets better soon!
