So I went to Geraldine (little SI Town) for a farewell party in the weekend and decided to take my Dh bike as I had been told there are some good rides in the hill behind the town. So Saturday morning the father in-law takes me up the hill and I set off and find some nice shore style jumps and drops and start to hit them up...all good... felt good...until I try to hit them in a row and I hit the last jump with way to much speed over shoot the landing by 3 metres and highside onto my esra and hip. End result I can hardly walk and have a sizable lump in my esra! Farther in-law was laughing so hard he damn near ssiped! Also easter weekend is on the way and I probally wont be able to ride! Injuries suck. But anyway I can reccommend Geraldine as a good place to go for a ride if you want to get out of CHCH for something a little different!

Hey, Not sure if I should admit this but I grew up (near) Geraldine and when I was back there with my bike I just rode Talbot Forest and closed my eyes as I rode past the no bike signs... Where exactly are these MTB tracks??
