Just spotted this from http://www.velonews.com/
| Quote: | | On the RockShox side, we spied three new longer-travel forks. SRAM representatives wouldn't provide any details on the record, but we were able to sparce up a few hints. Domain is a new value freeride fork and features a 20mm Maxle and oversized stanchions. Lyric is a new light freeride fork, with a new damper system called Mission Control that offers external high- and low-speed compression damping. Finally, Totem is the new top-end freeride fork for '07. First seen at Interbike, the platform appears to have stanchions in the neighborhood of 40mm. Both high- and low-speed compression feature external adjustments, and the new lowers seem to be triple butted externally. |

External low speed damping is gonna be a big plus!
Dialing out brake dive has gotta be a good thing - I wonder if they'll make a new damper upgrade for their other forks?

Considering manitou has offered it since 1998 and Fox for the last five or so years.
Being 9 years behind the game isn't bad by RS standards.

Simple, marketing BS.
All the current lower leg castings are tapered or stepped to some degree. Counting the number of steps (or butts) and saying yours is better because it's triple butted is just dumb.
Oh and WTF is with showing your 2007 product when 2006 is only 2 months old.

Those Codes look nice. But one atricle says 27% more power, the other 10 - 12%*. And is it still a only one pad each side of the disc?

Yea those codes look mean. The article says 10 to 12% more power than the juicy 7 and only 80g more than the 7 looks like they've made a good job on these, I want a set.

I'd say 10%. The amount of pistons makes stuff all difference to power.
