if you want a complete bike - best way in NZ is to either be friendly with the lBS and get them to order something in,
or wait for the clearance sales....
like the super cheap avanti hotdogs at OnYerBike at the moment....

nz web prices for a complete bike tend to be full, or near full retail.

Food (hmmm, chocolaaaate), a little persistence and a "good-basdrat" attitude will usually endear you to L.B.S guys and gals - which may very well lead to a discounted frame...

Depending on which dance moves you try, the price might actually go up - dirty-dancing with the manager will probably get you arrested...
