I've been mtbing in general for 2 1/2 years, dhing for 2 (and I'm still tihs ) I've only really been racing for a bit over a year, but I love racing now - Plan to do (in the next few months) all 3 rounds of wanga dh champs, King Of Down (I might be overseas then tho ) and anything else that comes up within travelling distances (and a roadtrip upto castlerock etc hopefully ) I had those prospective dates for 04 nats on my fridge under-lined the ones I intend on doing the old man said he'll pay for me to do it so thats sweet as i might see if I can scrounge a trip to dunners to get me's a national ranking (heh ) (at this stage I wanna do roto, napier and welly)
one gay thing is I'm goin to aus for xmas, so King of down and napier nats, well I'll most likely miss K.O.D and possibly nats

I've been mountain biking for 10 years - but 24 years ago I used to push my trike up to the top of Hackthorne Road on the Port Hills and ride it to the bottom - wearing my gumboots out all the way. Does that count?
And remember kids - the "modern" mountain bike originated from a bunch of hippies pushing cruisers to the top of a hill, and riding back down
