Been thinking about getting some more bike tools recently so I have a nicely equipped garage for working on our pedally friends Smile

I have many tools for motorcycle use which is handy as some are good on bikes, but what other cool stuff should any DIY junky have? (p.s. no comments from Chickenman about my hamfisted ability on bicycles, I'm still learning! Big Grin )

Have the following at the mo':

--- bike specific

Chain whip
Cluster removal tool
BB Tool
Crank Puller
Chain breaker
Sexy green bike grease
Fork oil (5wt, but may get some others in a while)

--- other stuff

Big bad ass 1/2" Torque wrench, proper clicky one.
Spanners, metric from <6mm to like 32 or something silly
Sockets, 3/8, 1/4, 1/2 drive, metric & some imperial from bugger all to 37mm + Hex drives
Impact driver
Screwdrivers, all the normal guff + torx, snake eye, etc..

I guess I'm probably in need of a workstand and maybe some more bicycle specific tools? some of the obscure ones I'll steer away from cause I can always go and grovel to borrow from friendly mechanics Wink

Spanners for removing pedals ( sometimes called pedal removing spanners) and a length of pipe to fit over those spanners for pedals that need some persuasion.
Nice red grease.

"Lifu Protool" toolboxes are good to Double Thumbs Up

The tools are sorta tihsty but they work for a couple of years - but it's quite cheap - I've seen them advertised from $70-$120 - it's also very fun to say "Lie Foo Pro Tool" quickly Paranoid

Tis cheap insurance, if something like a rotor comes loose it can be quite costly Crazy
