From what i got told they were similar to the last one, and i did the rotorua cateye on a 02 agressor, and it was dam fast uphill thats for sure . id say the major difference betweent that and the old one was the old one had dukes on it.

Hmmm... if you're planning to ride it like a light-weight XC rig it'd be a good bike - if you're planning to ride it as hard as your current/ previous bikes avoid
I reckon it's main flaw would be those wheels - call me old skool but a properly laced set of Mavic SUPs is all you need in this world (and they aren't that heavy either.) Wait a tick - Richard (who was with us when Hoz broke his leg) rides an Aggressor - I think it's this model - shall give him a "heads up"
I ride an Aggressor - running Psylo XC's at 3inches, XT fruity bits, Deore discs and XT hubs laced to F219's. It's light enough for XC but if got a few heavier-duty things on it should I feel the need to jump it (though i've got another bike for that but it's good to have a spare )
I definitely rate it for XC - not sure about the stock wheelset though - I prefer at least 32 spokes

yeah i know, im rough on bikes, broke 3 barracudas in 3 months a couple of years ago, i was only gonna use this for XC, want to get under 3.30 for karapoti. im gonna get a hack bike too.
oh and the wheels are surpisingly strong, my friend has a disk model and has no problems with them, and they add knaw factor.

Tama just gave me the heads up on the Aggressor debate. I've been riding one for the last 10 months and I am one very satisfied punter. It's nice and light and great on the uphills. I've been thrashing it round a bit, do zero maintenance and have had no techo difficulties - no problems with the wheels. Then again, this is also my first m.bike so what would I know. But it's all good for me. Richard
