With only wanting to down hill then maybe a fully would be the choice. But if you insist, try a new keewee progressor or stealth. Really good value for money, and the progressor is NZ made. Steath is cool too, mine will be here in 2 weeks!!!

Im running 7 inch boxxer race and should be absolutely mint
(plus you can get some singles and brakes for cheap, just for when you wanna pop up to the jumppark in QT)

Woohooo another dude seeing the light!! Double Thumbs Up

Keewee's are good value, excellent local support, nice frames. I have a DMR, it rocks, very happy with it, never ridden a Da Bomb, but they look the tihs, very nice... All pretty much the same thing, buy the one you like the look of Wink

Also have a look at the Craftworks Rail frame, i have the 02 model and it is sweet.. Robert @ craftworks will sell direct to NZ as no one distributes the frames here.

I reckon the new keeseew looks cool as well.

Personally i find the geometery pretty good, it is a bit of a longer frame than your average jump bike so is quite stable for bombing through stuff and i am relatively tall so suits me.

The head angle could be regarded as being a bit to steep at 70 deg but i have not found it to be a problem with a 5" fork and have done rounds of the national series with no complaints.

Robert@Craftworks reckons you can run a big fork no worries which would slacken the head angle. and with the 03 rail you can alter the wheel base length if you really want to.

mmmm the keeewee is veerry nice
