they look like a nice all round bike, and a kona so they have a good brand back up

it looks like a pretty good deal at 1700.

are the hydro discs cos that would be even sweeter, bombers are always a solid reliable fork and those frames look real sturdy.

nah those are just mechanicals (the budget shimano ones) Only problem being that I would have to sort out a guide, cant be seen with triple rings Wink

yea kona's are all good, on the plus side its an ht so getting a guide for it isnt hard eg - roox chaindog, dmr guide
id say go for it.... Smile

yup, that guy from chch would have been eddie, he now has junior t's tho. They have the same geometry, wheels and cranks as my roast so i can say from experience that they are a good bike. 1700 is a wicked deal as well so i say go fot it!!
