Don't think Kila's at the Royal anymore. He runs a bike repair/hire/tour store now Smile

But if you give 0800 NASEBY (the Royal Hotel number) a call, I'm sure someone there will be able to tell you.

I'm pretty sure it's open but if you want to know for sure, ring the info centre - 03 4449961 and they can give you Kila's number too - he's left the Naseby pub & now has his own bike shop etc in the old Masonic Lodge (real easy to find - just on the main road into town, opposite the domain). (I grew up down there :+) Primo place to get out and about) I think he does some rides through the forest on Monday nights too if you're still there then...

Alex is worth 10 Nasebys.

I have to go to a family thing in Hanmer soon, hope the forests aren't closed like last time.
Not sure I could endure another weekend of town/hotpools in a state of babyboomer saturation without riding.

Maybe only in size.. Sly

Matter of personal preference I suppose. I agree with XCrider - nice flowy singletrack will always win me over than technical, rocky tracks Huh

Have fun in Naseby! Double Thumbs Up
