Shutleable stuff and jumps are at MTB heaven, near the end of the rail trail.

there is a DH track up behind teh clyde dam.

there is heaps of shuttleable 4wd trails at oldman range and Nevis

there are some other trails but you'll need a local to show you where they are, and most locals will be flat out fruit picking and stuff.

yea theres a jump park just over the one lane bridge (heading towards the big clock) once over bridge go about 100m left down the rail trail

there are a heap of various sized jumps and tracks under the clock on the hill.

then 10 minutes out of alex to clyde go up the look out road and about the third power pole past the 4wd only sign u will find the best dh track ever!!

But he asked for DH aswell, Brent showed me some cool trails but told me not to post details on the net, or he'd kill me Sad

gully gap isnt at clyde its at alex but last time i looks its all kcufed now and didnt look like anyone had hit it in ages!

clyde dh track had a bigger jump.... double and this other averagly big step down thing over a pit which is real fun but u have to watch the run out its rather dusty and loose
