Mark Kermode on the Dukes of Hazzard: "Anyone who would just be amazed by a moving image on screen with synchronised sound would be impressed by it but beyond that, its just a total stiff."

Kung Fu Hustle is good (but you sort of have to like asian movies, and martial arts movies, and it helps to have seen a few to get the context and injokes)

My summer of love at the rialto WILL make you have an erection. at least one.

hot chicks GETTIN it on!!

rent the DVD of "Old Boy" or "Infernal Affairs" from Alices.

Wallace and Grommit is all class.

Have you seen Hero E Dogg? - Go rent that if you haven't, it's gnikcuf classy. Except for the ending, which apart from the "permission to execute?" bit and the awesomeness of all the arrows flying through the air sucks.
