I'm looking at getting Digi camera. I like taking photos (playing) so I want something that I can play around with and in 6 months time I wouldn't be looking for something better. Will use it for stills I like mountains n' stuff and action shots MTB etc...

I'm aware that I'll need to get a bigger SD Card if I want to take heaps of pics.
What is that lens like?
How does the changing of lens work on Panasonics?
Any advice welcome
And no I don't want to buy a Sony

Panasonic is a decent brand just like sony. They couldn't get away with making a piece of parc and associating it with their name man. You know you're buying something of decent quality when you buy a brand like that.

I have one 
It's pretty robust but it doesn't take that flasher photos in low light, my pentax is way better but also twice the price at the time.
It takes a pretty good photo in reasonable conditions and they develop pretty well

Sonys ok, I just find it abit gimiky for my liking. And they make alot of things yes, best NO.

No, not best because it's the most popular, it's the most popular because it was the best. The first Playstation was the first console that broke out of the videogames as a niche market and made possible games that a mass audience could enjoy.
And in case you're not convinced, Sony did it twice: the walkman.
Name another brand that has had such an impact.

Only because Sony licensed all the best games so to play them you need one.

They also did it with the Mini Disc..
Oh wait no they didn't that idea didn't really take off either
